What we do

We build tailor-made regenerative projects that reveal the essence of the people and honor the story of those places.

Landscape stewardship

We uphold indigenous stewardship that is embedded in cultural ways of relating to land and embodies principles of respect, reciprocity, and responsibility.

Capacity development

We develop local peoples' capacity to discover, strengthen, and adapt to their full potential and strategically engage in their own community and landscape.

Governance of biocultural landscapes

We provide indigenous peoples opportunities to participate in decision-making for integrated landscape planning efforts that address challenges horizontally.

Integrated capital pathways

We invest in changemakers and create communities of practice focused on building resilient ventures that restore landscapes, promote healthy food systems and strengthen community livelihoods.

Multi-stakeholder partnerships

We catalyze collaborations between governments, research institutions, businesses, civil society and landscape leaders to maximize the impact of everyone’s efforts.

Process development

We convene, develop, facilitate and catalyze enabling processes that respond to economic, social and ecological issues by exploring the inherent potential of each place.

We embody

Buen Vivir

We take inspiration from the deeply holistic Quecha principle of living that's rooted in Andean cosmology. In Quecha, it's referred to as 'Sumak Kawsay', in Spanish as 'Buen Vivir', and in English 'Good Living'.
No matter the language, the meaning remains the same- a cultural of life and living that is community-centric, ecologically-balanced and culturally-sensitive. And by embodying these prinicples, we can find well being.
